ALPHA was made for the man who changes the temperature of a room by walking into it. Inspired by the noble life of Marcus Aurelius, it celebrates strength, virtue and success, and it wears the way those things feel: steady, warm and impossible to ignore.

It opens with fresh Sicilian citrus and blackcurrant cut with cold spice, settles into aquatic jasmine, patchouli and a hint of lavender, and dries down to leather, oakmoss and a trace of vanilla. Robust enough for a black-tie evening, easy enough for a Sunday afternoon, and made to last all day on skin.

Designed in Italy and handmade in small batches in New York, ALPHA quickly became our best-selling fragrance. Every bottle is infused with a pheromone compound developed by a clinical psychologist, so what others notice first is a refined scent, and what they remember is you.

    Once it settles, it has a warm smell with a light kick of smokiness, while I'm not great at pinpointing specific scents, to me I'd say the spice part is either a little bit of one or a mix of cardamom, vanilla, or oak spice, though i wouldn't describe it as a full on spicy smell, again its just a light kick if you analyze it after constantly bringing your arm to your nose to smell it because its such a pleasing scent.

    I would say that this scent could be worn all year, in cold or hot weather due to the combination of the spice and sweetness working for winter and fall seasons, and the warmth and freshness working for spring and summer seasons.

    Moving away from the scent and onto other factors, It does have acceptable longevity, I would say, 6 hours plus or minus ~1, though I don't have the strongest nose and people vary on how much they consider to be "too much" but to last you from say in the morning before you go out to the afternoon, or the afternoon to later at night, it will last just fine and either way the bottle is small enough to easily carry around and reapply if needed.
